Lucky Peach Magazine!

As of July 27th, we are currently out of stock of Lucky Peach - can you believe we blew through so many in its first week of release??!! However, we are expecting a second run! Please call the store to reserve your copy!

The first issue of Lucky Peach has arrived at ISSUES and we are already drooling!

Lucky Peach is a new food journal published by McSweeney's and created by Momofuku's David Chang (Momofuku means lucky peach in Japanese!). Each issue will have a specific theme explored through essays, rants, photography, travelogues, and recipes- this issues is the RAMEN ISSUE (caps lock hit by Jennie :P).

Inside you will find among other delectable articles, the history of instant ramen (and an instant ramen battle), the science of alkaline noodles, a group rant with David Chang, Anthony Bourdain, and Wylie Dufresne, and a detour to the world's best potato chips!

Recipes include: Instant ramen gnocchi (??!!), Momofuku ramen broth, Carrot dashi (yes - you can make vegetarian ramen!), Corn Miso Butter and Bacon ramen (via haiku - what is up with haikus? Check our last blog post/ Pork magazine haikus what/A music review), and every way to boil an egg possible!

Are you hungry for Lucky Peach yet? Pick up a copy at ISSUES! We have a limited number available!
